Friday, May 9, 2008 - "Basic Cataloging 411 or ‘How I learned that Catalogers are NOT Trying to Make My Life Difficult’" will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. at the Clinton-Essex-Franklin Library System in Plattsburgh. The fee is $15.00 for library staff, and $59.95 for all others. Lunch is included. Saturday, May 16, 2008 - The DHP Clinton-Essex Counties Spring Regional Roundtable will be held from 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at the Samuel de Champlain History Center in Champlain. The topic of discussion will be "Interpretive Use of Collections." A tour of the History Center will be part of the day, and lunch will be provided. There is no fee to attend, but registration is required. Friday, May 16, 2008 - "Conflict Resolution" will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at the NNYLN in Potsdam. The fee is $10.00 for library staff, and $29.95 for all others. Saturday, May 17, 2008 - The DHP St. Lawrence-Franklin Counties Spring Regional Roundtable will be held from 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at the Lawrence Town Hall. The topic of discussion will be "Interviewing and Oral History." There is no fee to attend, but registration is required. Thursday, May 22, 2008 - The NNY Library Network’s Annual Meeting will be held in Alexandria Bay. (See cover story for complete details.) Monday, May 26, 2008 - The NNYLN office will be closed in observance of Memorial Day. Friday, May 30, 2008 - "QuickBooks, Level I" will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. at the NNYLN in Potsdam.
