Spring-Summer Continuing Education Catalog

The NNYLN has compiled its list of classes for the spring / summer 2008 season. The continuing education catalog is expected to be mailed out in early March. Upcoming classes will include: The Code Behind the Program, Trends in Mobile Devices and Applications for Libraries, Conflict Resolution, The Disaster Manual: Plan and Create It, a three-part Management Series on Essential Management Skills, and a number of Microsoft program classes. All of the courses are already posted online under the "Training & Workshops" link on the Network’s website at www.nnyln.org Anyone wishing to register for an upcoming course may call the NNYLN at 315-265-1119, or 877-833-1674, or register online through the Network’s website.

Board Nominations

The terms of three Northern New York Library Network Board of Trustees members will expire on June 30, 2008.

Inger Curth of Jefferson Community College, Ezra Ford of LaFargeville, and Andrew Hersh-Tudor of Clinton Community College have completed full five-year terms on the Network’s board, and their contributions are deeply appreciated.
