Tuesday, January 1 - The NNYLN office will be closed in observance of the New Year.

Tuesday, January 15 - "Microsoft Excel for Beginners" will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the NNYLN in Potsdam. The fee is $15 for library staff, and $59.95 for all others. Lunch is included.

Thursday, January 17 - The Winter Webinar "Selecting Blogging Software" will be held from 2:15-3:45 p.m. on your desktop. There is no fee to participate, but registration is necessary.

Friday, January 25 - "Introduction to Access" will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the NNYLN in Potsdam. The fee is $15 for library staff, and $59.95 for all others. Lunch is included.

Tuesday, January 29 - "Microsoft Excel: Intermediate Level" will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the NNYLN in Potsdam. The fee is $15 for library staff, and $59.95 for all others. Lunch is included.

A Date To Remember

The New York Archives Conference (NYAC) will host their 2008 Annual Conference on May 28-30, 2008 at SUNY Potsdam.

The conference will include a day of workshops, a plenary speaker, a number of conference sessions of diverse content and interest, a Thursday evening reception, Friday luncheon, and tour offerings. On-campus housing will be available at an inexpensive price for those who are interested.

Scholarships for attending the conference will again be offered by the organization.
