Class Schedule Is Announced

The fall 2007 - winter 2008 line-up of classes provided by the Northern New York Library Network is sure to have a little something for everyone.

The Continuing Education booklet contains information on classes for the coming months. Many popular favorites, as well as some brand new titles, will be found.

The September 2007 schedule will include QuickBooks: Level 2, the DHP Jefferson-Lewis-Oswego Fall Regional Roundtable, Volunteer Programs, Microsoft Word: Intermediate Level, Geeks Bearing Gifts: Unwrapping New Technology Trends, and the Clinton-Essex Fall Regional Roundtable.

The October 2007 line-up includes Adobe Acrobat: PDF Files, the DHP St. Lawrence-Franklin Fall Regional Roundtable, Care and Handling of the Collection, and Photoshop Elements: Photoshop Lite!

The November 2007 schedule consists of Surveys 101, and Introduction to Second Life.

Moving into 2008, January classes include Microsoft Excel for Beginners, Winter Webinar: Selecting Blogging Software, Introduction to Access, and Microsoft Excel: Intermediate Level.

The February classes will be Microsoft Access: Intermediate Level, and Winter Webinar: RSS and Libraries.

The Winter Webinars will wrap-up in March, with Microblogging: The Newest Blog in Town.

Most of the DHP related courses will be free of charge, with regular full-day NNYLN courses being the standard $15.00 for library personnel, and $10.00 for half-day classes.
