Training On Demand - CE Assist

Member libraries in need of specialized staff training are welcome to apply to the Network for a CE Assist stipend to help pay for on-site trainers. CE Assist program guidelines provide half the cost of a trainer (up to $1000) to come to the library and provide staff with customized assistance. Examples of this program might include a one-day staff workshop on assessment, planning, or program implementation; or perhaps training on the implementation of a particular piece of software or new procedure.

Participating libraries choose their own trainer to assure they are getting exactly what they need. By providing this training on-site to their own staff, libraries can select the best possible date, time, trainer, and training methods to assure that training objectives are achieved.

For more information about CE Assist, or to apply for funding, call Bridget Doyle, Regional Services Coordinator, at 1-877-833-1674 or email her.
