Job Openings

• The North Country Library System is seeking a Consultant Librarian.
• AuSable Valley Central School is seeking a Library Media Specialist.
• Cayuga Community College has an opening for a Library Director.

Survey Thank You

The Northern New Library Network would like to thank everyone who completed our online member survey. The Network uses survey results for planning and assessment, and values members’ opinions very highly.

The winner of the drawing for a free gift (of those who submitted their emails with the returned survey) is Ginger Tebo of Flower Memorial Library in Watertown. Ginger will receive a 1 gb USB Flash Memory Drive.

Membership Update

Letters have been mailed out requesting updated information for the 2007-2008 Northern New York Library Network Membership Directory.

All member institutions are asked to respond by May 7, 2007, even if no changes need to be made.

It is valuable to everyone who uses the Directory to have complete names, titles, phone numbers and extensions, and email addresses for the staff in member institutions.

Paying With Credit Card

Workshop participants who pay online with a credit card are reminded it is a two-step process.

First, participants are asked to register for the workshop through the Network’s website or by calling the Network.

Second, participants are asked to proceed and schedule their credit card payment.
