ICEPAC October Update

ICEPAC is the region’s consolidated on-line catalog with contributions from the NNY Library Network’s academic, public, school and special libraries. It is updated every three months.

The October 2006 update of the ICEPAC database contains 3,226,044 bibliographic records and 1,743,590 individual holdings statements for those items.

People In The News

The NNYLN was recently made aware of the following new staff members at regional libraries:

• Inger Krueger is the new Public Services Librarian at Paul Smith’s College’s Weill Library. And Jecinda Eller has returned to the library after earning her B.S. degree. She is a Library Technician.

• Mila Su was hired as the Access Services Coordinator, and Darlene Strack was hired as a Library Clerk, II at SUNY Plattsburgh’s Feinberg Library.

• Mary LaMere was hired as a Library Clerk at the Ogdensburg Public Library.

Libraries with new staff members are asked to share their information with the Network for inclusion in an issue of Points North. Staffing changes should be sent to Pam Ouimet.

PastPerfect

The NNYLN has several copies of the 4.0 upgrade to the PastPerfect archival software package.

Libraries and archives currently using 3.x versions of PastPerfect are invited to contact the Network for a free upgrade.
