Wednesday, Oct. 4 - "Publicity for Non-Profits" will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the Days Inn in Watertown. The fee is $15.00 for everyone to attend. Lunch is included. (Note: the Oct. 2 session of this class to be held in Plattsburgh was canceled.)

Monday, Oct. 9 - The NNYLN office will be closed in observance of Columbus Day.

Thursday, Oct. 12 - "Marketing Electronic Resources" will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the Network office in Potsdam. The fee is $15.00 for everyone to attend. Lunch is included.

Saturday, Oct. 14 - The Franklin-St. Lawrence Counties Fall Regional Roundtable will be held from 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at the Akwesasne Cultural Center in Hogansburg. North Country author David E. Martin will lead the discussion on "Scanning & Historic Documents." The event is free to attend, but registration through the NNYLN is required.

Wednesday, Oct. 18 - "Open Sources Software" will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at the Network office in Potsdam. The fee is $15.00 for everyone to attend.

Thursday, Oct. 19 - "Introduction to ArcGIS Systems" will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the ODY Library at St. Lawrence University, Canton. The fee is $15.00 for library staff, and $59.95 for all others. Lunch is included.

Saturday, Oct. 21 - The Jefferson-Lewis-Oswego Fall Regional Roundtable will be held from 9:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m. at the Sandy Creek Town Hall. The agenda includes discussion on "Community Resources: Tapping Community Resources, Involving Students, Seniors, Towns & County Resources." The event is free to attend. An optional lunch will be offered for $6.00 per person. Please contact Lisa Becker directly at 315-376-8957 to sign up for this Roundtable.

Wednesday, Oct. 25 - Part III of the North Country Preservation Series, "Basic Preservation of Photographs" will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the Network office in Potsdam. The fee is $15.00 for everyone to attend. Lunch is included.

Thursday, Oct 26 - "Documentation Basics: Filling the Gaps in Your Community’s History" will be held from 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the Days Inn in Watertown. There is no fee to attend.

Friday, Oct. 27 - "Documentation Basics: Filling the Gaps in Your Community’s History" will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza Resort in Lake Placid. There is no fee to attend.
