New CE Schedule Is Announced

The Northern New York Library Network is introducing some new classes to its fall- winter continuing education line-up, as well as bringing back some popular favorites. Be looking for the Network’s fall course catalog in your mailbox!

The following is a complete list of scheduled classes:

August - Beyond Beginners: Microsoft Access will be held Aug. 10 in Potsdam. Introduction to ArcGIS Systems will be held Aug. 18 in Canton. Imaging and Scanning will be held Aug. 29 in Potsdam.

September - North Country Preservation Series: Part I, Basic Preservation will be held Sept. 7 in Potsdam. QuickBooks, Level II will be held Sept. 8 in Potsdam. Basics of Archives will be held Sept. 11 in Saranac Lake. DHP: Clinton-Essex Counties Regional Roundtable will be held Sept. 16 in Newcomb. North Country Preservation Series: Part II, Preservation of Scrapbooks will be held Sept. 25 in Potsdam.

October - Publicity for Non-Profits will be held Oct. 2 in Plattsburgh, and Oct. 4 in Watertown. Marketing Electronic Resources will be held Oct. 12 in Potsdam. DHP: St. Lawrence-Franklin Counties Regional Roundtable will be held Oct. 14 in Paul Smiths. Open Source Office Software will be held Oct. 18 in Potsdam. DHP: Jefferson- Lewis-Oswego Regional Roundtable will be held Oct. 21 in Sandy Creek. North Country Preservation Series: Part III, Basic Preservation of Photographs will be held Oct. 25 in Potsdam. Documentation Basics: Filling the Gaps in Your Community's History will be held Oct. 26 in Watertown, and Oct. 27 in Lake Placid.

November - Library Assistants Fall Conference will be held Nov. 9 in Canton. Microsoft Excel for Beginners will be held Nov. 10 in Potsdam, and Nov. 16 in Plattsburgh.

December - Introduction to Access will be held Dec. 6 in Potsdam, and Dec. 14 in Plattsburgh.

January/February 2007 - Microsoft Excel: Intermediate Level will be held Jan. 11 in Potsdam, and Jan. 19 in Plattsburgh. Beyond Beginners: Microsoft Access will be held Jan. 25 in Potsdam, and Feb. 2 in Plattsburgh.
