Saturday, April 1 - The DHP Jefferson-Lewis-Oswego Counties Spring Regional Roundtable will be held from 9:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at the Handweaving Museum & Arts Center in Clayton. The topics are "Raising the Level of Awareness of the History of an Area" and "Fundraising, Public Involvement, & Volunteers." There is an $8.00 fee for lunch, to be paid to the Lewis County Historical Society. Thursday, April 6 - The NNYLN Board of Trustees will meet at 10:00 a.m. at the Network office.

Friday, April 7 - The teleconference "Soaring to Excellence: Serving Immigrant Populations" will be held from12:00-2:00 p.m. It will be webcast, which can be viewed from any computer with an Internet connection. To view the webcast, contact the NNYLN for the URL.

Friday, April 7 - "Google: The Library’s Friend (Really!)" will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at the CEF Library System in Plattsburgh. The fee is $15.00 for library staff, and $59.95 for all others. Lunch will be included.

Thursday, April 20 - The Spring Library Assistants Conference, "Change: It’s a Good Thing!" will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. at the NNYLN in Potsdam. The fee is $15.00 for library staff, and $59.95 for all others. Lunch will be included. (Please Note: The title and agenda for the Conference represents a change from that advertised in the NNYLN’s Spring /Summer 2006 Professional Development catalog.)
