By The Board

The NNYLN Board of Trustees met Dec 1, 2005. Actions include the following:

• approved the audit of the Network’s finances prepared by Brian Staples, CPA.
• approved the annual plan for the Regional Bibliographic and Databases Program as recommended by the Network’s Automation Committee.
• budgeted funds for the Network’s Outstanding Student Employee Award program.
• set the date for the Network’s 41st Annual Meeting: May 25, 2006.
• the next board meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, February 28, 2006.

Archival Consultants Are Available

All on-site consultations remain available for libraries, archives, and historical documents repositories.

Recently completed consultations, which include a written report and recommendations, include: the Constable Hall Association, Dexter Historical Society, Adirondack Medical Center Archives, and the Newcomb Historical Society.

These consultations are funded through the State Archives Documentary Heritage Program. To apply, print out the application from www.nnyln.org/dhpapp.php and submit it to the NNY Library Network.
