On-Site Archival AssistanceThe Network’s program of providing technical assistance to archives and special library collections continues. In the past few months, the following have received on- site visits and advisories through this program, which is funded through the NYS Archives’ Documentary Heritage Program: West Monroe Historical Society, Westport Public Library, Diocese of Ogdensburg, Constable Hall, Adirondack Medical Center, W.H. Bush Memorial Library, and Newcomb Historical Society. Organizations in need of professional assistance in developing or enhancing an archival or special collections program, are encouraged to apply for this service by going to www.nnyln.org/dhpapp.php, print and fill out the application form, and submit it to the Network. | |
