Saturday, Oct. 1 - The DHP Jefferson-Lewis-Oswego Fall Regional Roundtable will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. at the Lewis County Historical Society in Lowville. The topic of discussion will be "Do the Right Thing: Preservation / Conservation on a Shoe-String Budget." There is no fee to attend. Thursday, Oct. 6 - Microsoft Access "Subforms and Linked Data" will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at the Network office. The fee is $10.00 for library staff and $29.95 for all others.

Price Break - Take the morning and afternoon sessions of Access and save: the whole day is $15.00 for library staff and $49.95 for all others. Lunch is not included.

Thursday & Friday, Oct. 6 & 7 - "Determining Historical Value" will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. There is not fee to attend. The Oct. 6 event will be held at the CEF Library System in Plattsburgh; the Oct. 7 event will be held at Days Inn in Watertown.

Friday, Oct. 7 - "ebay," Part I will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. at the Network office. The fee is $15.00 for library staff and $59.95 for all others. Lunch will be included.

Sunday-Monday, Oct. 9-15 - "New York Archives Week 2005" is being celebrated. See page 5 for a complete listing of events in the Network’s seven-county region.

Monday, Oct. 10 - The NNYLN will be closed in observance of Columbus Day.

Monday, Oct. 24 - "Stone Strategies: Documentation, Stewardship and Conservation of Historic Cemeteries" will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. The class will begin at the Network office, and continue at the French/Grant Cemetery down the road from the office. The fee is $15.00 for library staff and $59.95 for all others. Lunch will be included.
