Monday, Sept. 5 - The NNYLN office will be closed in observance of Labor Day.

Thursday, Sept. 8 - "Beginner’s Excel" will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. at the Network office in Potsdam. The fee is $15.00 for library staff and $59.95 for all others. Lunch is included.

Friday, Sept. 9 - "QuickBooks, Level II" will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. at the Network office in Potsdam. The fee is $15.00 for library staff and $59.95 for all others. Lunch is included.

Saturday, Sept. 10 - The DHP Clinton-Essex Counties Fall Regional Roundtable will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at the Westport Library. The topic of discussion will be "Increasing Local Support." There is no cost to attend, but registration is requested.

Monday, Sept. 12 - A meeting of the North Country Digital History task group will be held at 10:00 a.m. at the Network office in Potsdam.

Tuesday, Sept. 13 - "Access for Beginners" will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. at the Network office in Potsdam. The fee is $15.00 for library staff and $59.95 for all others. Lunch is included.

Thursday, Sept. 15 - The NNYLN Board of Trustees will meet at the Network’s office in Potsdam at 10:00 a.m.

Sept. 16, 19 & 21 - "Publicity for Libraries: Get the Word Out!" will be held in three locations.
* Friday, Sept. 16: Clinton-Essex-Franklin Library System in Plattsburgh
* Monday, Sept. 19: Days Inn in Watertown
* Wednesday, Sept. 21: NNYLN in Potsdam
For all classes, the morning session will be from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., and the afternoon session will be from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. The cost if $15.00 for a full day or $10.00 for a half day for library staff, or $59.95 or $29.95, respectively, for all others. Lunch is included for the full day.

Thursday, Sept. 22 - There will be a meeting of the Automation Committee at 10:30 a.m. at the Network office in Potsdam.

Monday, Sept. 26 - "Excel: Formulas, Formulas, Formulas" will be held in the morning, and "Excel: Chart This!" will be held in the afternoon at the NNYLN office in Potsdam.
The morning session will be from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., and the afternoon session will be from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. The cost if $15.00 for a full day or $10.00 for a half day for library staff, or $49.95 or $29.95, respectively, for all others. Lunch is NOT included.

Friday, Sept. 30 - "Adobe InDesign" will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. at the Network office in Potsdam. The fee is $15.00 for library staff and $59.95 for all others. Lunch is included. (The Sept. 29 section of this class has already been filled.)

Friday, Sept. 30 - A meeting of the Library Assistants Committee will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the Network office in Potsdam.

Academic Libraries Take Note: "The Information Commons: Adapting to the Culture of Net Generation Students" conference is being hosted by the NY3Rs Association and the Academic and Special Libraries Section of NYLA. It will be held Thursday, November 10 - Friday, November 11, 2005 at the Marriott Courtyard, Saratoga Springs.
