Celebrate The NNYLN’s 40th Year

The Northern New York Library Network will be hosting its 40th Annual Meeting on Thursday, May 26, 2005 at the Riveredge Resort in Alexandria Bay. The Network’s board and staff members are hoping for a large turn-out to help them celebrate this special anniversary.

The day’s agenda will include:
9:30 a.m. - Registration & refreshments
10:00 a.m. - Program by Richard Boss on "Library Technology Trends;" poster sessions
12:00 p.m. - Luncheon
1:00 p.m. - Annual meeting, announcements, door prizes

Mr. Boss will address the group on the anticipated impact of technology on library services over the next 10 years.

The 15th Annual Award for Excellence in Library Services will be announced.

In honor of this milestone anniversary for the Network, this year’s annual meeting will have a slightly different format, with a few treats tucked in along the way.

The deadline for registration for the Annual Meeting is Friday, May 20. So if you haven’t signed up yet, be sure to do so today! The fee is $10.00 for library staff.
