Nominations Now Open For 2005 Excellence Award

Wouldn’t you like to see that fellow library staff co-worker get recognized for all the work he/she does on a daily basis? You know, that person who always goes a little above and beyond, or always makes library users and colleagues feel like someone special?

Here is the opportunity to do just that. It is not too early to be thinking about who you would like to nominate to be recognized as the recipient of the Network’s 15th Annual Award for Excellence in Library Service.

You may nominate any staff member of any library for this award. To nominate someone, simply write a confidential letter describing how your nominee’s activities have contributed to excellence in library service.

Send the letter to: Excellence Award, Northern New York Library Network, 6721 U.S. Highway 11, Potsdam, NY 13676.

The winner of the award will be announced at the Network’s annual meeting in Alexandria Bay on May 26, 2005. Letters should be received in the Network office by May 2.
