Friday, January 21, 2005 - "Soaring to Excellence: Dealing with Difficult People" will be held from 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at the Northern New York Library Network, Potsdam and at Oswego State University, Penfield Library. There is no fee to attend.

ILL Directory Is Updated

The updated Regional Interlibrary Loan Directory for 2004-2005 is now available. This directory lists library names, addresses and contact information for the 340 public, school, academic and special libraries in the North Country.

This year's directory is a co-production of the Jefferson-Lewis and the Franklin-Essex school library systems.

OCLC Serials Holdings

For those libraries with serials holdings in OCLC, a printed copy can be provided for checking purposes. This is an opportunity to compare actual holdings with those repositories are listed for in the OCLC Union List system.

To receive a copy for an institution, please contact Tom Blauvelt, blauvelt@northnet.org. There is no charge, but there is a three month turn-around time for production of the list.
