Wilma Cummins Passes AwayWord has been received that Wilma Wurster Cummins died on June 12, 2004 in Canton. She earned her Masters of Education and a Bachelor’s degree from St. Lawrence University, and a Master of Library Science degree from SUNY Albany. In her professional life in the North Country, Mrs. Cummins served as Director of Library Services at SUNY Canton and as a Reference Librarian at St. Lawrence University. Mrs. Cummins was a life-long learner and an avid reader. Memorial donations may be made to the Canton Volunteer Rescue Squad or the Canton Free Public Library. |
