Archival Directory To Be Updated For 2005This fall, the Northern New York Library Network will begin collecting data for the biennial edition of the "Directory of Archival and Historical Documents Collection 2005." Organizations listed in the Directory will be contacted for updated information later this summer. Jeff Garvey Added To Scroll of Exemplary ServiceSamaritan Medical Center Library Services Director Jeff Garvey was recently added to the Hospital Libraries Section of the Medical Library Association’s Scroll of Exemplary Service. This award recognizes individuals for their demonstrated exemplary service in leadership, publishing, service or through a special project or event on the job or in the community. Mr. Garvey began working in Mercy Hospital in 1974, where he developed the Hospital Library Program in 1983. In 1999 he became a Samaritan employee with the relocation of the Hospital Library Program. |
