August 20 - "Getting Started: Developing and Managing Digital Collections" will be held from 9:30 a.m.- 2:00 p.m. at the NNYLN in Potsdam. There is no fee to attend.

August 25 & 31 - "Grant Writing for Librarians" will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. It will be at the NNYLN in Potsdam on Aug. 25, and at the Clinton-Essex Franklin Library System in Plattsburgh on Aug. 31. The fee is $15.00 for library staff and lunch is included.

Sept. 6 - The NNY Library Network office will be closed in observance of Labor Day.

Sept. 9 - "Preservation/Conservation: Care and Handling of Collections" will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. at the NNYLN in Potsdam. The fee is $15.00 for library staff and lunch is included.

Sept. 10 - "Introduction to Excel" will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. at the NNYLN. The fee is $15.00 for library staff and $59.95 for all others. Lunch is included.

Sept. 16 - "New Century Libraries Advocacy Leadership Meeting" will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at the Cheel Center, Clarkson University, Potsdam. (See the cover story for complete details.)

Sept. 16 - There will be a meeting of the NNYLN Board of Trustees at the Network office following the New Century meeting.

Sept. 17 - "Redesigning Library Space" will be held from 9:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. at the Comfort Inn in Plattsburgh. The fee is $15.00 for library staff and lunch will be included.
