ICEPAC And ICICILL Update

ICEPAC is the name of the regional on-line union catalog which is updated four times a year with member-contributed records. For the last update, the catalog contained 1,692,201 separate bibliographic records and 3,189,152 holdings. In March the catalog was enriched with annotations, book reviews and book jackets for selected items.

ICICILL is the name of the regional interlibrary loan system. In February of this year, libraries placed 4,641 requests and received 3,450 items.

G. Glyndon Cole died March 21, 2004 in Plattsburgh at the age of 94.

'Glyn' Cole was the compiler of "Historical Materials Relating to Northern New York : A Union Catalog" published in two editions, 1968 and 1976. Both were published under the auspices of the NCRRR Council. From 1961 to 1975 he was the director of the North Country Historical Research Center, Feinberg Library, State University College, Plattsburgh.
