Wilson Gets A New Look

The Northern New York Library Network will continue to provide access for all the region’s libraries to the Wilson Full Text Select Database.

The Wilson Omnifile: Full Text Select Edition is a multidisciplinary, 100 percent full-text database providing full text articles, with their accompanying indexing and abstracts, from the following Wilson periodical databases: Art Full Text, Applied Science & Technology Full Text, Biological & Agricultural Index, Education Full Text, General Science Full Text, Humanities Full Text, Index to Legal Periodicals & Books, Library Literature & Information Science Full Text, Readers' Guide Full Text, Social Sciences Full Text, Wilson Business Full Text.

Access to Omnifile will look different than it has in the past. Previously, access to the database was provided through the WebSpirs interface (SilverPlatter). Beginning in January 2004, access to this database is provided through WilsonWeb (H.W. Wilson). We think you will like the new interface and encourage you to try it. If your IP address has been authenticated, you should be able to access this database. If you cannot get access, please let us know. We will arrange to have your IP authenticated, or provide you with a password.
