- Mary McCarthy, Interlibrary Loan Specialist/Office Assistant, at the
Northern New York Library Network retired on December 23, 2003. Mrs. McCarthy worked at
the Network for over 25 years. She will be greatly missed, and is wished the best from
everyone at the Network.
- Barbara Uchtorff has been appointed as the new Associate Director at SUNY
Oswego’s Penfield Library. She comes to Oswego from Ithaca College.
- Joan Pellikka has been appointed as the new Circuit Rider Librarian at Samaritan
Medical Center. She joined the staff on November 10, 2004.
- The Board of Regents of the University of the State of New York has appointed
Christine W. Ward Assistant Commissioner for the State Archives (State Archivist). Ms.
Ward had been serving as Acting State Archivist since 2002.
