Oct. 4 - "Desktop Publishing: Microsoft Publisher" will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Network office. There is a $10 fee and lunch is included.
This workshop is being repeated on Oct. 7 at the Network office due to its popularity.

Oct. 10 - "The Technology Market Place: Overview and Trends" will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Riveredge Resort in Alexandria Bay. There is a $10 fee and lunch is included.

Oct. 12 - The DHP Franklin-St. Lawrence Counties Regional Roundtable will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Fort Covington Reading Center and Museum. The topic will be "Increasing Local Support - attendance, membership, archival donations, and money."

Oct. 14 - The NNY Library Network office will be closed in observance of Columbus Day.

Oct. 15 - "Archives 201: Arrangement and Description of Historical Records" will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Hotel Saranac in Saranac Lake.Lunch will be provided.
This workshop will be repeated on Oct. 21 at the Days Inn in Watertown.

Oct. 15 - "Dialog@CARL Database Searching" has been cancelled.

Oct. 16 - "GALE Database Training" will be held in two 2 1/2 hour sessions: 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Network office.

Oct. 18 - "Effective Presentation with Microsoft Power Point" will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Network office. There is a $10 fee and lunch is included.
