NCLS & Libraries Receive FundsThe North Country Library System was recently informed by Sen. James Wright that a $200,000 special legislative appropriation has been secured to help improve public library services. The monies will allow for the purchase of two new delivery vans for the NCLS, a total of $62,000, with the remainder of the funds going to the individual libraries within its system. Funds are being allocated in amounts of $3,000 to NCLS member libraries within Jefferson, St. Lawrence and Oswego counties. | |
