Videotape Available

A videotape copy of Virtual Reference Services . . . What, Why and How?, part II is now available on loan from the Network office. This is the second of a two part teleconference.

The programs help to clarify the differences between traditional and virtual reference services and analyze the organizational impact that new services can have. They will analyze what works, what pitfalls to avoid, what new skills are required and what must be changed within your library to make virtual reference services work well.

Program II (broadcast April 19) shows how library practitioners are instituting virtual reference services by showcasing successful implementations.

The tape is available for a one-month loan period. To borrow this tape, please call the Network office at 315-265-1119 (local) or 1-877-833-1674 (toll free).
