Mark Your Calendar ...March 7 - "Beginner’s Access" workshop will be held in the NNYLN’s Computer Lab. Registration will be at 9:30 a.m. and the class will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Lunch will be included. March 13 - "Access, Beyond Beginners" workshop will be held in the NNYLN’s Computer Lab. Registration will be at 9:30 a.m. and the class will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Lunch will be included. March 14 - "Beginner’s Excel" workshop will be held in the NNYLN’s Computer Lab. Registration will be at 9:30 a.m. and the class will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Lunch will be included. March 15 - Soaring to Excellence, "Whatever Happened to Carbon Paper?: A Look Toward the Future for Librarians, Library Assistants and the Printed Word" teleconference will be held from noon to 2:00 p.m. in the NNYLN’s Conference Room. Please bring a brown bag lunch. March 26 - "Steering by Standards" videoconference will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the NNYLN’s Conference Room. (See description on page 5.) March 29 - The NNYLN will be closed in observance of Good Friday. April 5 - "Excel: Beyond Beginners" workshop will be held in the NNYLN’s Computer Lab. Registration will be at 9:30 a.m. and the class will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Lunch will be included. April 19 - National Satellite Teleconference on Virtual Reference Services will be held from noon to 2:00 p.m. at SUNY Oswego, and from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the NNYLN office.
