ILL Study Results Are InStaff at the Hunter-Rice Library at Samaritan Medical Center recently completed a study of their Interlibrary Loan Service. During November and December 2001, data was collected on 300 consecutive ILLs. For each ILL the following information was recorded: timeliness, cost, reason for sending, method of receipt, ILL system used, and date of publication for journal articles. The results showed Hunter-Rice Library was able to eventually obtain all but two of the 300 requests, giving them a total success rate of 99.3 percent.
