Area Libraries Receive CCD Funds Area academic libraries recently received a total of $74,492 in Coordinated Collection Development funds as part of the New York State Education Department program. The program is administered within the region by the Northern New York Library Network. The following is a list of libraries and the amounts they received: Clarkson University - $7,528 Clinton Community College - $5,637 Jefferson Community College - $6,577 North Country Community College - $5,188 Paul Smith’s College - $5,202 St. Lawrence University - $6,442 SUNY College of Technology Canton - $6,453 SUNY Oswego - $12,281 SUNY Plattsburgh - $10,493 SUNY Potsdam - $8,691

Excellence Awards It is not too early to be thinking about who you would like to nominate to be recognized as the Network’s 12th recipient of the Annual Award for Excellence in Library Service. You may nominate any staff member of any library for this award. Nominations must be received by April 22, 2002.
