Mark Your Calendar... Feb. 7 - There will be an ICEPAC ILL Implementation Task Group meeting at 10:30 a.m. in the NNYLN’s Conference Room. Feb. 8 - "Virtual Reference Services... What, Why and How?" workshop will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in Potsdam; and from noon to 2:00 p.m. in Oswego. (See the article below for more information.) Feb. 8 - The Hospital Library Service Program Planning Committee will meet at 10:00 a.m. in the NNYLN’s Conference Room. Feb. 18 - The Northern New York Library Network’s office will be closed in observance of President’s Day. Feb. 28 - An ICEPAC training session for St. Lawrence-Lewis BOCES will be held in the Network’s Computer Lab. March 12 - "Develop a Website" workshop will be held from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. in the NNYLN’s Computer Lab. The event is being presented by CyberTrail Outfitters Website Design and the cost is $10 per person. To register contact CTO at 315-379-1260. Satellite Conference The two national satellite teleconferences on virtual reference services on Friday, February 8, 2002 and Friday, April 19, 2002 from noon to 2:00 p.m. (ET) are a must-see for professional librarians and library decision-makers. This teleconference will be presented in two locations: Potsdam and Oswego. The Potsdam broadcast will be held at the office of the Northern New York Library Network. The NNYLN location will include lunch at 11:30 a.m. and the program will be followed by a roundtable discussion period. The programming is scheduled for noon to 3:00 p.m. If you would like to attend the Potsdam broadcast of this teleconference, please register by calling (315) 265-1119. The SUNY OSWEGO broadcast will be held from noon to 2:00 p.m. in Room 34B Lanigan Hall.
