Staffing News From SUNY Potsdam Diana Caswell and Marianne Hebert have been welcomed to the staff at Crumb Library at SUNY Potsdam. Diana joined the team on Feb. 26, 2001 as the new Secretary to the Director. Marianne will be joining the team on Aug. 1, 2001 as the new Cataloging and Automation Librarian. Ed Komara will be welcomed this summer at the Crane Library. He will be the new Crane Music Librarian effective July 1, 2001. 1st Council Workshop At New Building The Council will host the first workshop in its new quarters at 6721U. S. Highway 11 in Potsdam on July 9. The workshop will be on creating and maintaining a library web page, and will be taught by Paul Doty. Other workshops to be held this summer will cover the anatomy of a grant proposal, using the Internet for historical research and unlocking the power of Microsoft Access, the premier database building tool.
