Mark Your Calendars... Over the past three months, library staff across the region have had opportunities to catch up on interlibrary loan procedures, learn how to effectively search databases, and to see how to use scanners and other technologies related to digital imaging. In November, the Council's continuing education schedule continues with the Annual Library Assistants' Conference, which this year will focus on communication skills, and the Copyright Law in the Digital Age workshop. The Council, through its Continuing Education Committee, strives to provide events varied enough for all library staff to find something useful. In the coming months, the Council will be planning its schedule for the year 2001. If there are topics you would like to see addressed, please let us know.
