BOARD REPORT
The Board of Trustees of the North Country Reference and Research Resources Council met on July 13, 2000 at the Adirondack Museum in Blue Mountain Lake.
Board actions included:
- Received the report of the Nominating Committee with regard to the new Board officers. They are: President, Steve Bolton; Vice President, Patricia Miranda; Secretary, Shirley Ellsworth; Treasurer, Bart Harloe.
- Received the report of the Building Committee with regard to the Council's new headquarters building.
- Appointed Donna Hanus of FEH School Library System, Patricia Wiley of Saranac Lake Free Library, Ravil Veli of SUNY Plattsburgh, Patrick McIntyre of North Country Community College, and Chris Hebblethwaite of SUNY Oswego to the Regional Automation Committee.
- Appointed Brian Staples, CPA, to conduct the Council's annual fiscal audit.
- Approved submittal of an LSTA grant application for on-time, on-line, document delivery.
- Approved the Annual Documentary Heritage Program application.
- Set meeting dates for the upcoming year. The next meeting will be October 12, 2000.
