Board News From The Network’s Annual Meeting
- Newly elected board members are Patrick McIntyre of North Country Community College, Sally Rusaw of the Diocese of Ogdensburg, and Michelle Young of Clarkson University. Their terms begin July 1, 2008. Outgoing board members recognized for their years of dedicated service were Ezra Ford of LaFargeville, Andrew Hersh-Tudor of Clinton Community College, and Inger Curth of Jefferson Community College.
People In The News
- Inger Curth will be retiring in July from Jefferson Community College as the Melvil Dewey Library Director. She has been at the college since 1997. Connie Holberg, the current Coordinator of Reference Services & Special Collections, will be taking over as Director.
- Andrea Miller is the new Data Entry Clerk at Jefferson-Lewis School Library System in Glenfield.
- Deborah Side is the new Education Director at River Hospital in Alexandrian Bay.
- Cindy Bruce is a new Keyboard Specialist II at SUNY Plattsburgh’s Feinberg Library.
- Shannon Pritting is the new Access Services Coordinator at SUNY Oswego’s Penfield Library.
- Roland McKee and Janice Sickler have joined the staff at Ogdensburg Public Library as Library Clerks.
- Mary Hall is a new Library Clerk at Massena Public Library.
- Barbara Lightfoot is a new Library Clerk at Gouverneur Correctional Facility’s Library.
- Eddie Combs is the new Supervisor of Education at Federal Correctional Institute Ray Brook.
- Jefferson Community College’s Assistant Librarian/Information Literacy Coordinator John Thomas was honored during the recent commencement ceremony with the Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Librarianship.
