Tell Your Patrons: Say "Cheese" (Caption-Patron Pauline Boyce at the Massena Public Library.) We informed you in last month's edition of Points North about ICEPAC, Northern New York's on-line catalog, and we're hoping you've had the opportunity to check it out. Now we are turning to you to make the page a bit more personalized. We at the North Country Reference and Research Resources Council have paid a visit to a number of libraries in this area and took some photos of library patrons and staff members. The photo to the left is one such picture. We are now accepting either digital photos on a floppy disk, or snapshots of the goings-on at your libraries. (No Polaroid's please.) Please submit any photos of events, patrons or staff members from you library, along with identification of those involved to: North Country Reference and Research Resources Council, attn: Pam Ouimet, 7 Commerce Lane, Canton, NY 13617. The photos will become part of ICEPAC's rotating display of libraries, librarians and library users. We hope that you and your patrons will find ICEPAC useful. And you may even recognize some of the people who are now appearing on the homepage. Be sure to check it out at www.icepac.net.
