Join In On A January Workshop


The North Country Reference and Research Resources Council is hosting three workshops in two different locations during the month of January.

"Creating and Maintaining Web Pages" is being held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on January 10 at Clinton Community College in Plattsburgh, and on January 24 at Jefferson Community College in Watertown. Registration for both events begins at 8:30 a.m. These sessions are designed for individuals who have little or no experience creating web pages.

"Managing Your Public Access Computers" will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on January 11 at Clinton Community College in Plattsburgh, and on January 25 at Jefferson Community College in Watertown. Registration for both events begins at 8:30 a.m. These sessions are designed for individuals who manage Windows 95/98 computers for public access.

"Safeguarding Your Computers" will be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on January 11 at Clinton Community College in Plattsburgh, and on January 25 at Jefferson Community College in Watertown. Registration for both events begins at 12:45 p.m. These sessions will give you an opportunity to explore third-party utilities for protecting your computers.

At the January 11 and 25 workshops, lunch will be available for students in either class, as well as those who are attending both. There is no additional charge.
