Become A Member Of The ACRL Anyone interested in academic libraries is invited to consider joining the Eastern New York Chapter of Association of College and Research Libraries. Membership rates are very reasonable, $12.00 for those who maintain a membership in the National ACRL Division of ALA, and $15.00 for those who do not have a membership in the national chapter. Because the organization is a regional association, the two conferences held per year are easily accessible geographically, as well as reasonably priced. Membership in ENY/ACRL provides benefits such as reduced conference rates, regularly published newsletters, and an annual directory, in addition to the most important aspect of membership, the opportunity to interact with knowledgeable colleagues in both public and private institutions throughout the region.
