as a child, the library was my favorite place the librarian behind the counter had such a friendly face i read stories of heroic dogs and men who were so great Saturdays were the days we went and i could hardly wait in Lawton, Okalahoma we had the public library and another at Fort Sill where i became lost in reading books of comics, in rooms that were so still i read the poetry of Langston Hughes, e.e. cummings and Robert Frost even when I may not have understood their meaning- the feelings came across |

i love the joy and happiness that a good book can bring and books were always steadfast friends to which my heart could cling so spend some quiet hours with a comforting book or two and i am sure the library will become a special place for you |
