Dates for the Spring Regional Roundtable discussions have been set.
The topic for the Roundtable for Jefferson, Lewis and Oswego counties will be
"Using the Internet as an Informational Source." It will be held in two sessions, from 10 to
11 a.m. and from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Ainsworth Memorial Library in Sandy Creek. The
presentation will be made by library Director Margaret Kastler. Those in attendance will have
a hands-on experience by getting on the Internet and finding sources.
The topic for the Roundtable for Franklin and St. Lawrence counties will be "Institutional
Planning: Why We Need It." It will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on June 26 at the Colton
Town Hall. A tour of the Colton Historical Society Museum will be conducted, which will
include looking at their archives. A report will be given on the DHP services they received.
The topic for the Roundtable for Essex and Clinton counties will be "Getting Connected,
Local History and the Internet." It will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on June 28 at the
Adirondack History Center in Elizabethtown. The guest speakers will be Director of the
Ticonderoga Historical Society Elaine Reynolds and Essex County Historical Society Director
Reid Larson.
