Archival Workshop Is Scheduled A Processing Archival Collections workshop will be held at two different locations during the month of June. The workshop will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on June 2, 2004 at the Days Inn, Watertown, and from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. on June 4, 2004 at Hotel Saranac, Saranac Lake. The instructor will be Katie DeFazio, Professional Archival Consultant. This hands-on workshop will take participants through the process of organizing a collection according to accepted archival principals. Starting with an unorganized collection, participants will sort manuscript materials and create a preliminary inventory. Previous attendance at the Arrangement and Description of Historical Records workshop is helpful but not required. The fee to attend is $10.00 for everyone.
