Appraisal & Selection Workshop The workshop "Archives 201: Appraisal & Selection of Historical Records" will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on June 3 at the Days Inn in Watertown, and on June 5 at Hotel Saranac in Saranac Lake. This workshop will introduce techniques to identify records that are necessary for adequate documentation of local governments and the communities they serve. Press Releases On-Line If you think you missed an article in your local newspaper issued by the NNY Library Network, or wish you had saved a copy of a story, you can now find the original on the Network’s website. The "Publications" link on the website found at www.nnyln.org now has a "Press Releases" section. This new addition includes all Network related releases that have been issued through our office to date in 2003.

State Archives Information If you ever need information on the New York State Archives, you may reach them through their website at www.archives.nysed.gov. There is quite a bit of DHP related information found at this site.
