Join In On A Spring Roundtable DiscussionAs the trees begin to bud and the grass turns a brilliant green, it means it’s time to mark your calendars for the Council’s Spring 2001 Documentary Heritage Program Roundtables. The dates for this season’s events have been set throughout the North Country Reference and Research Resources Council region. The roundtables always provide for a perfect opportunity to get together with people from your area to discuss issues of concern and interest regarding your repository or archives. Or, if you’re simply interested in finding out more about historical and archival information, you won’t want to miss this. The Jefferson-Lewis-Oswego Roundtable will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on April 28 at the Jefferson County Historical Society in Watertown. The topic of discussion will be "Archival Security." The St. Lawrence-Franklin Roundtable will be held beginning at 10 a.m. on May 11 at the Ogdensburg Public Library. The topic of discussion will be "Working With Volunteers." The Clinton-Essex Roundtable will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on May 19 at the Knights of Columbus Council 2366 Building in Rouses Point. The topic of discussion will be "Problem Patrons."
