Walking Tour Part Of Archival Conference

The Northern New York Library Network was an underwriter of the New York Archives Conference held May 28-30, 2008 at SUNY Potsdam.

Three event participants were given grant funds through the Network to help defray the costs so they could attend.

Network staff assisted in the conference for the "Strong Musical Traditions in Everyday Life as Evidenced in North Country Local Collections" session, the "Digital Asset Management Systems and Archives" session, and with the "Walking Tour of Historic Potsdam Buildings" - one of three tours offered as the final segment of the conference.

Potsdam Public Museum Director/Curator Mimi Van Deusen led the walking tour.
